Information
Investigating the protein-binding properties of heparin often requires complex chemical modifications to attach it to inert or derivatised surfaces. Hepranex™ 96-Well Heparin-Binding Plates provide a simple, efficient solution to this challenge.
The plasma-coated surface of Hepranex™ plates adsorbs heparin directly, without chemical modification, while fully retaining its protein-binding characteristics. Heparin-binding occurs at room temperature using physiological buffers.
The solution concentrations of heparin or proteins can be varied and optimised to meet the needs of the experimenter.
The ELISA-type format is simple to use and compatible with automated laboratory systems
Properties
Surface immobilisation of native glycosaminoglycans in a 96-well format.
Retention of protein binding properties.
High signal-to-noise ratio
Versatile, and applicable to a wide range of heparin concentrations and gradients.
Simple to use, amenable to high throughput.
